yeah in case you have not heard about it yet (since it happened only ytd), SP netball won RP in the fight of 3rd or 4th placing. big issue is that 4th don't receive a medal. so that game was like as if our lives depended on it. so many people came down to watch it, and it was the most nervewrecking game i had ever had for YEARS since damai's finals.
in the end, SP won RP by 2 goals.
just 2 goals. imagine what that difference can make. i kept glancing over at the timekeeper, hoping its time already, so that RP cant catch up with us.after the longest 2 minutes in my life, umpire blew his whistle. thank you for the tremendous support, all those who came down to support SP. even people i dont even know were there to support us.
superbly emotional ending. i wanna cry of joy, but i sweat too much = no water to cry. saw some of my teammates who did cry though.
thank you girls. all 15 of you. who stick with SP thru thick and thin, sweat and tears. this is my 1st medal since i joined SP Netball, and it seems so fitting cos me and sylvia will be graduating nx yr. boo. im really proud of all of you, for staying strong.

peishing, for bearing the ridiculous physical torment the defenders were giving you.

ira, though you're sick, you stood strong against that persistent untimely WD, who happens to contact you every single time you get the ball.

sylvia, for lasting the whole of 4 quarters as a center, who ran the most compared to everyone else, and yet your stamina never fail the team.

doreen, for those AMAZING SHOTS. really AMAZING SHOTS, I SWEAR.

eunice, for adapting as a WD so fast and being able to work with me so well.

qiaowei, for being my partner, and not failing me.

cynthia, for those times you were my partner, though you're actually a shooter. you're so good at defending i dont have to worry about the other shooter.

grace, for being the reliable WD you always am, and enduring the bad ankle sprain to play for us.

yan yan, for allowing us to instill confidence in you. you were a great Center against NP the other time.

fizah, for that absurdly hell of a right hand you have. i can totally trust on you for being my WD.

qianye, for opening yourself up to us. i never knew it'll ever happen but it did. you know you're one of us now.

nguk neng, for being patient and supportive all the way through since i joined the team.

jiahui, for being the most supportive and loud one outside the court. i SWEAR i can hear you every game. for being the stickiest defender out of all of us that you scare the attackers. and also for braiding my hair. haha.
to
priscilla, though i dont know you well and you're new to the team, im awed you could give us you could give us support as if you've been with us for years.

COACH, for believing in me.
netball was never an individual sport. the team, is always, the ultimate champion.
thank you SP netball. for giving me much happiness in this final year of school.
and last but not least, nasir coming to tp after a long day at work just to watch that match, is one of the main reasons i played hard, and won. thank you baby, for your presence made me feel really confident cos i know i'll always have your support.
